Another ‘loveteam’ exited the Big Brother House tonight! Matt Evans and Olyn Membian’s hopes for the Big Win are over as they became the PBB Teen Edition 5th and 6th evictees. Mikee Lee, Ang Pambato ng mga Atenista, took a big chunk of the vote this week and emerged the strongest housemate. As soon as they stepped out of the House, Matt and Olyn were met with huge cheers from the crowd.
The nominees were first asked about their Holiday Hotdog task yesterday wherein they had a chance to share a sandwich through a booth with a two way mirror with their closest friends outside of the House. Though they were shocked at first, it turned out to be a very pleasant surprise from Big Brother. After the task, Big Brother permitted them to talk about it with the other teens.
Also Kuya told all of them that their task Operation Smile was finally over. He then delivered them the news that Baby Miggy has already undergone two operations through the help of volunteer doctors at the St. Luke’s Hospital. Jamilla could not help but cry while Big Brother showed them how Miggy’s operation went. The Teenage Mom from Laguna said that she felt her purpose in the House was over but the others said she still has a long way to go.
Big Brother informed them that because of generous and big hearted Kapamilyas, they will also be able to help two other children afflicted with the same condition as Miggy. This further brought tears from Jamilla and Brenda who was very passionate about their mission for Miggy. One can clearly see the satisfaction in all the teen housemates’ faces. “Masarap ang pakiramdam malaman ang purpose mo sa Bahay.” Brenda related to PBB host Bianca Gonzalez.
Crunch time came and eventually they all had to say good bye to Olyn and Matt, the two housemates who got the least number of votes this week. Mikee was most surprised when his name was called out as the survivor of the eviction. Although heavy-hearted the two accepted their fate for they also wanted to see their family and friends, who were all waiting outside for them. Noticeably, Olyn immediately introduced her mom to Matt.
This was probably the most tear-filled eviction night for the housemates sobbed almost as soon as they heard the evictees’ names. Brenda hugged Olyn tightly for the two became quite close during the formers two-week stay inside the Big Brother House. The Teen Star Wannabe promised her that they will see each other real soon. “Gagawin kitang ‘malandi’!” was Olyn’s farewell words to her.
Silence filled the air as soon as the away-bati couple, the most makulit and jolly of all the housemates, exited the House’s doors. Would the Big Brother House ever be the same without them?
